Creative Brief
Objective: Design System
Goals: Sunlighten had been spending lots of time on email design and marketing campaigns. When I first started I created a component Figma library which included variations of approved copy, colors and fonts that could be used to create emails fast and cohesively. Once I mastered the email library I was able to create a design system for web and app design as well.
Having a system allowed us to A/B test email copy and design and focus more on results instead of basics of coding and layout.
My Creative Approach
I took the existing colors and fonts and made a standardization for usage. Since this is a luxury brand and they use almost every color of the rainbow creating approved images, copy and color choices were a must for helping elevate the brand. The good thing about using Figma is as I stayed at the company and things changed we were able to madd update elements that auto applied to anything that used the system in the past.
